Take a gentle walk through Heddon Valley, enjoy a cream tea at the National Trust’s Hunters Inn, or follow one of the many footpaths across the nearby moorland. If you enjoy wildlife, keep an eye out for red deer and Exmoor ponies, especially at dawn and dusk.

For something a little different, visit Woody Bay Station to experience a steam train journey on the historic Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. You are also within easy reach of coastal viewpoints and scenic drives, as well as nearby villages such as Lynton and Combe Martin.
